What a great time to be a Burton Panther!!!
Welcome to the Burton Independent School District weekly update. Bond Project information will be shared as it pertains to the planning and construction of our new facilities.
Still accepting Requests for Proposals for the bond project until Thursday, November 3rd by 2:00 p.m. A Pre-Bid Meeting and additional site visit is scheduled for Thursday, October 20th @ 2:00 p.m. in the Burton ISD Auditorium located @ 917 North Main Street.
Recently it was Digital Equity Week which at its core is about providing everyone the tools to fully participate online regardless of age, race, income, location or ability status. There are four components to achieving digital equity: internet, devices, online content and digital skills. Burton ISD is proud to implement a technology infrastructure that will move our students into a competitive digital world.
In the past two years, district priorities and shifts in PK-12 education has definitely had an impact on our students, their families, and the communities we live in. We have weathered changes and challenges to learn insights that will provide a better support system for the whole child. Hopefully, through organizational excellence and efficiency the learning experiences of Burton ISD students will fit into a modernized component of the global workforce.

The pride of the Burton Panthers is embedded in all of us whether we are a student, an alumni, a community member, a staff member and employee, a parent, board member and/or a proud supporter and in many cases all of the above. We love our Panthers and like to think that the culture we are providing in educating our students is a reason why parents want their children to attend Burton ISD.
